Today’s your first Spoken English class at S@ifur’s. There are at least (কমপক্ষে) 20 to 30 learners in the class. Do you know them all? Of course not. Don’t you feel like introducing (পরিচিত করাতে ইচ্ছে করছে না?) yourself to them? Surely you do. After a few classes, some of them will be your best friends. You’ll get an opportunity to practice English with them. They too will like your company (সঙ্গ). Let’s know one another by taking an interview.
Before starting, work out which questions to ask.
For example: The students at first will read the following questions loudly and try to understand the meaning of the questions. (The class teacher will notice the uses of intonation)
1. What’s your name?/ May I know your name?/Would you mind telling me your name?/How may I call you?/ Could you tell me your name please?
2. Where do you come from? / Where are you from?
3. How old are you? May I know how old you are?
